Exhibition events with images made within the project
The activity of organizing cultural events has an essential contribution in improving the reception of Roma culture and increasing the degree of inclusion of Roma in the project implementation area and contributes to improving access to culture for at least 500 people and supporting cultural initiatives about the Roma minority by organizing a 10 contemporary art activities aimed at Roma culture supported; within the exhibitions that will be organized in the 10 localities, elements of Roma material heritage from the collection of the Ialomița County Museum and snapshots taken during the project activities, images aiming at representations and lifestyle in Roma communities as well as photographic achievements of participants in contemporary art activities.

On October 14, 2023, the opening of the event “Steppe Roma – a story about the past and roads” will be organized at the Orașul de Floci Museum Research and Exhibition Base, located in the town of Giurgeni, Ialomița county, which functions as a section of the Ialomița County Museum towards modernity”, during which the thematic exhibition, the official launch of the recipe created within the project and demonstrations of traditional Roma culinary art will take place.
