Project progress presentation seminar
The event was attended by both the project implementation team and representatives of the local public authorities (Dragalina Town Hall, “Duiliu Zamfirescu” Technological High School) and the media.
During the seminar, the activities carried out within the project were discussed, including an extensive field research on the culinary traditions, representations and lifestyle of the Roma communities carried out in 5 counties, among 200 people of Roma ethnicity; it was also discussed about a series of activities to empower and strengthen ethnic cultural identity dedicated to children, in which a target group of approximately 54 Roma students from Dragalina participate. Among them, it is worth mentioning the experiential theater club and the storytelling workshops, as well as the creative writing circle or the digital narrative photography training program, which have as their main objective the development of children’s cultural and creative skills.
